Ori Shimamiya was in one of the many places he should never be alone after school, this certain place happened to be the number one place where he should never be without supervision. Yet, there he sat, his legs crossed, his fingers flying over the keys, and singing a short song as he went. He didn't particularly want to return to the dorm which he shared with one of the most quiet kids he'd ever met. He would usually end up talking to himself, or playing on his Iphone which wasn't wanting to pick up calls this week. These things happened a lot, usually he went to the library, or out for Coffee. He did feel bad for leaving his little roommate alone, but he assumed he was only bothering the kid with his motor mouth.
Besides, he had a project to do anyways, a power point on a subject he wasn't fond of talking of, which was World War II. It wasn't so much the things that went on, but the idea that so many people could fight because one guy decided to be an idiot, then got another idiot to support him, soon a bunch of other idiots followed that idiot. Soon whole nations were sucked in. He knew it was meant to happen, he just didn't think it should have happened. The thought of World War II made him tear up because of a book he had read a long time ago, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas to be exact. He'd cried from that book, something his mother saw as being stupid, considering it wasn't real.
"The woman is older than the hills, and she obviously sees all, so she must know if it could've happened or not" he thought, his words dripping with sarcasm. His hands moved faster, almost beating on the keys without meaning to. Thinking of that horrid woman made him want to rip his own hair out, why had his father submitted to her? The large man could've thrown her prideful stuck up self out of the house, and had a better life. He chose to however defend the "weak", it was no secret that his mother tricked his kind old man into thinking she was frail, and delicate, and that she could never be mean.
People thought that of Ori too, because he looked like her build-wise. Had he been a girl, he could've been a cheerleader if he wanted to.
Ori was quickly getting his research done, he hated reading about Adolf Hitler, and Hiroshima, and all of the bad things that happened in the war. He didn't hate war, he thought it was good, only when justified. This great war was, but he would never believe that all of Germany had believed Hitler. No one agreed on everything.

The wireless connection in his dorm wasn't strong enough to reach his room. It didn't make any sense because it had worked just a few days before. Espio was about to get really pissed off if someone had fiddled with or broken the router. Unfortunately, he didn't have a clue where the wireless router in the school was located. Was there one on every floor? Did student have to buy their own? Or was there one central source of wi-fi that somehow managed to expand across the massive academy? Espio was ready to go out and buy his own router. He was more than willing to pay for his own personal internet, which he would gladly password and never let anyone else use, no matter how much they begged. Espio thought that, if there was a wireless router in the school, it must have been in the computer lab.
The young teenager sat his precious piece of machinery on the side of a desk, flipping the laptop open to click it out of sleep mode. Espio observed the bar at the bottom of his screen and, sure enough, the internet connection was up to five bars in this room. This internet was such a tease. The boy grumbled swiping his finger across the touch pad- having left his mouse upstairs- and double clicked on his Google Chrome to bring up a total of twelve tabs to each of his forums. Espio hadn't been able to check any of the forums once today. He was almost having withdrawals. Sure, it had been his plan to search for the router and toy with the internet, but he was soon clicking on threads, reading through walls of text and getting lost in replies and questions that the fellow members were posting.
There was another boy in the room. A blond one. Espio hadn't noticed when he walked in. But he barely glanced at him even after that. He looked like he must have been busy and so was Espio. There was no way he was about to stop for one kid when he had a computer in front of him and countless computers all around him. Espio would have been in heaven if it weren't for the fact that he loved his laptop more than any piece of shit machinery in this room. Maybe the school should invest in some real computers. Not those dumb Macs. Honestly, who used Macs anymore? Not Espio. He was a PC guy because only PC could give him the satisfaction of extreme gaming like he needed. [/style] |

Ori continued on with his research. Becoming more and more confused and irritated about how stupid people were back then, how they were now. They honestly could've stood up to Hitler, he wasn't much bigger than Ori, hell, he might've been shorter than the blonde! Yet he had all of these people following him, blaming one group of people for everything that was going wrong in their country. Sometime's it ashamed him that he had relatives over in Germany, but maybe it was time to let that go.
Even though he was about is annoyed as he could be with the people of Germany during that time, he couldn't help but be a bit comfortable. He'd changed out of his uniform, and thrown on a nice, big T-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. His shoes were the same as always when out of school, converse. His mother hated the shoes, she said the looked like boats and made people look like idiots. Ori knew she couldn't talk, she was the one wearing sketchers shape ups like they actually worked. She thought he respected and feared her? He laughed at her, had his father not been there to protect her so much, he was sure he would've sent her back to hell where she belonged.
His eyes flitted over the screen, taking in the words, but not reading them. Reading so much junk was beginning to make his eyes ache. He hardly noticed another person entering the room with a laptop in hand. Ori could guess right away it had something to do with the internet. Ori himself had been having to use his 4G and it was taking the crap out of his phone battery, the only reason he was in here is because it was dead and refused to allow him to use it until it charged enough. That would take hours though, and he didn't have all year to finish up this project. So he just tossed the dumb plugged in thing on his bed, changed clothes, and marched down here. Maybe it would give his poor roommate the chance to get peace from the silence that returned once Ori left the dorm. The kid didn't talk much, ever. Ori talked too much, so maybe he could balance them out.
