his gaze passed from the screen to the camera placed beside the keyboard. the memory card was currently in the computer, which was why there was a loading screen. well, not really loading... more like... uploading. he had to upload them all on to the computer and then move all the pictures on to his flash drive, which was also connected to the computer. why not just move the files directly from the memory card? because technology hated him, that's why. he didn’t even want to get them developed into actual photographs with a physical form. he would have put it in an album if that were the case, and then someone, probably his roommate, would have stolen it. if his pictures were stolen, he wouldn’t know what to do.
so, there he was, uploading photos of the countless male students and teachers at the school... that isn't weird at all.

Theo pushed up his sunglasses and rubbed his eyes, letting out a low groan. He had just finished an hour of detention with two students who had, yet again, failed to hand in their assignments on time. And the teacher wasn't sure if they just didn't care about failing his class or were deliberately screwing with him, since their marks for other courses seemed fine. Talking to them didn't help, either. So it had been a tense hour of ignoring said students and he was ready for a break.
So absorbed was Theo in his own thoughts that he passed by the computer lab before realizing that someone was inside. It wasn't unusual for students to use the lab between classes, but there only seemed to be one person in there at the moment, which was odd. Curiosity got the better of him and the man backed up a few steps to stand in the doorway. Even from the back, he knew who the student was by the omnipresent camera on the table next to the computer. Theo watched him for a moment, unsure of whether to interrupt or not. He didn't want to distract the boy from schoolwork, if that was what he was indeed doing, nor butt in to private stuff. In the end, he compromised,
Settling himself against the doorjamb, Theo spoke. "Hard at work as usual, Mr. Ivanov. Take any interesting photos?" At least, he assumed the student was uploading pictures - he could just make out the memory card jutting out of the computer tower.
