Welcome to Carlyle, Rhode Island. A strange city that was formed all the way in the corner of Rhode Island that's huger even than the capitol of the state itself. Located beyond mountains and dirt roads, the only way of traveling is by car or train. However, while one would expect a little village or a town beyond the mountains and forests, here they find a large, metropolitan civilization that rivals San Francisco, Santa Monica, and even New York City. Carlyle is known for being so secluded and separated from any other cities and also as a great vacation area to enjoy the sweet balance of Nature and the Concrete Jungle. The population is a mix of a few locals and mostly tourists who have come to move into the lovely utopia of a city. However, what the place is truly known for, is for their highly prestigious, upscale, all male University.
The University of Carlyle is a school for sons of the rich, senators, other high powers who could only get in via money and connections, and some, via scholarships, if they're lucky. The school itself can be considered one of the best schools in the world, offering optimal education in arithmetic, all sorts of sciences, language and composition, social studies, and even, the arts. There's a reason why only the rich and intellectually capable were admitted. However, rumor has it that there have been some interesting scandals that had taken place in the School's mysterious past. How more things happen behind those gates that separate the school from the city beyond. More, interesting things. Could there be a reason why the school is located in such a remote area? After all, Carlyle itself was said to be around forever, but what does forever define? The books in the library don't detail Carlyle's history or even how the metropolis came to be, and why it was built so far away from anywhere else. After all, things always seem to run so smoothly, and when bad things happen on campus, they magically, disappear. Could there be something corrupt going behind the school? The city itself isn't so innocent either. A city like this, is perfect, a bit too perfect.
Despite all of these questions and mysteries, no one ever questions them. The locals are too absorbed with the city and the students are either wrapped up and engaged with their studies among other things. Why question? Why fix what isn't broken? It's better to just stay oblivious isn't it? Mindlessly roaming around and never questioning why things came to be. Let's be honest, no, Let's Be Animals.
