Father suffered from alcoholism, causing the bulk of abuse against Yuki's mother, and eventually him as well. Little brother, Kira, born a month after Yuki's sixth birthday. Not remembering the last time they had been intimate, his father accused his mother of cheating. Unwilling to shame either of their families, the couple stuck together. Yuki grew to protect his younger brother from the blunt of the abuse until his father sent him to the Academy when he was of age. Before he left, he had sex with a woman he hardly knew. His first time. She got pregnant. Young and unstable as he was, he didn't try to raise the twins, and started sending small bundles of money to them instead. Although it was cause for strife between he and his brother for a while, the child feeling like he had abandoned him, they moved passed it, eventually.. Eventually. He graduated with honors with his brother's persistence that he do his best on things, despite having a particular lack of ambitions for himself. He entered college and began his writing career around the same time. During college, he met a man named Hiro Nakamuri; after a few months, they became lovers. When he was of age, Kira moved out of his father's home, and into Yuki's home. During the course of two years after meeting Hiro, Yuki was sexually and mentally abused. His self confidence was shot, particularly when Hiro left. A few months before Yuki's twenty-third birthday, his father was hit and killed by a drunk driver. While Yuki did not go to the funeral, he did get his inheritance, which is always nice. A couple of months before starting his first teaching job, he contacted social services to gain at least partial custody of his sons. With how his son, as it turned out the other had died years before, was living with his mother, full custody was granted. He started teaching at the academy a year after he graduated college, one year ago. He's written four books, and is working on the fifth. Hero complex. He likes saving things and helping them, as much as he'll adamantly deny such a thing. He has a tendency to take in stray or hurt animals and take care of them before finding them homes. He might do this with people as well.. .. Might. He keeps his first name secret. He finds it feminine and he doesn't like that. Not at all. He writes romantic tragedies under the pen name "Aoi". He does not make any public appearances, he has no interviews, no biography on the side of the book, and no picture. No one but his publisher knows who he is, and he'd prefer to keep it that way. He was abused when he was little, and only undresses in front of others when he's distracting them with.. other activities. He has a lot of scars he doesn't want to explain. Although he will pretend to, he cannot see without his glasses. He's legally blind without them. His fear of getting close to others and allowing them to get close causes him to lie about a lot of things, even things as trivial as favorite colors and activities. He has trouble remembering to eat on a normal schedule, especially when he's busy. He risks himself to get things done, or to focus on his brother, or others close to him, which sometimes puts him in the hospital. He's a cutter.
