They had gone out for a romantic night on the town, by sun rise their family of 2 had become 3. Isamu was nameless for a few days, since his parents were told they would be having a daughter. Therefore the name they had both picked out was no longer an option. It was on his 5th day that they both agreed on the name. Isamu lived a rather normal life until he tagged along on a trip to a lake in Hokkaido with his parents and first cousin. Although it was their first time meeting, Isamu and the other boy (Whom was named Yuichi Ushiro) immediately hit off well into a friendship. In which they played together almost non-stop, so getting the two to lie down and sleep in the same room was rather difficult. They were best friends, so what if they were family? He was having a blast, the best time of his life because he had made a friend for once. His happiness however was shattered when the two went on a boat ride with Isamu's father. Isamu's father assumed everyone could swim well, therefore had them take off their life jackets while on the lake, it was only a short while afterwards that Yuichi fell overboard, and in his desperate struggle to get up for air, his head slammed into the bottom of the boat, which he had ended up under in an unexplained movement. Killing him before his cousin, who had been reaching out to him, and almost pulled him up to safety, could reach him. Isamu's father ended up diving in, in an attempt to save what was already gone, Isamu held his cousin and wailed until they made it to shore. He never stopped grieving for his family member, and beloved friend. He did eventually smile again, and gets a little better every day. Isamu hasn't dared call anyone a best friend, just to insure that he never forgets what he lost. It was not only a friend he lost that day, but his love for the water. Isamu did go on to make new friends a year or so after the accident, it didn't last long though. Although he was happy with the friendship, he never felt the closeness or trust that he had with his cousin, causing the friendship to end rather bitterly, in which his "friend" in a moment of anger and hurt, struck him harshly before stating that he was weird, and that he never liked Isamu anyways. The boy, whom was more spoiled than Isamu by a long shot, trampled off to then befriend Isamu's enemy since the beginning of the year (which was in Kindergarten). This plan did work; the boy eventually forgave Isamu, but never looked, or talked to him quite the same. Isamu never told a soul about how this friend had struck him across the face; he figured he would've done the same thing. Although Isamu forgave the boy, and himself, he had a feeling that the boy would never forgive himself for striking someone who was supposed to have been his best friend, but couldn't bring himself to call this boy the same. Having taken online courses in school since 1st grade didn't exactly allow his social skills to blossom before his freshman year in High School. He managed to keep out of the losers circle, he however didn't become the school's most liked person with his stuck up attitude at the time. Therefore he quickly made enemies; calling people trash because they didn't meet his requirements didn't win the approval of his parents, or many people at school either. Which caused him to get into a rather intense fight in the locker room, a fight which he won by a miracle. Winning wouldn't get him out of trouble, and word soon spread that the proud rich boy had fought. It was also said that he started this scrap; therefore the other boy only got in school suspension, Isamu was suspended for 4 days. He would never return to that school, once he looked back on how he had treated his peers. Although this was a blessing in disguise, he finds that he often wants to start over at that school, and perhaps be nicer, and not so stuck up and judgmental. Although no one could see why Isamu felt the need to leave a nearly perfect home, his parents couldn't stop him. His will to leave, and change, perhaps even get smarter (if possible in his mind) was much stronger than his parents will to keep their baby at home. After a month of pushing their buttons to get his way like he used to, plus some strong, but random speeches at the dinner table or in the living room during his mother's television programs, they finally gave in. Although they would never like the idea of him being alone, being how he can be (a bit snooty out of habit) and a little demanding, they began a search for boarding schools. Isamu ended up being out of school for nearly three months before they found Chishiki, which Isamu insisted on going to rather than a different boarding school, with more strict rules (plus it wasn't even in Hokkaido) and a higher fee, however it promised a higher level of education. He continued to refuse, using the "its closer to home and I can see you guys more" card almost every time that the subject of this school would come up. Soon enough, he was on his way to Chishiki, and promised himself to treat others how he would wish to be treated. Although he can act a bit demanding and spoiled sometimes, he's come a long way from where he was months ago. He also promised himself to try to be nice and make alliances before chewing some one out and making a sure fire enemy. He's still got work to do so it will be a long time until he's a totally nice and cool person that sees everyone as an equal. He knows he probably won't be getting there any time soon though. It is hidden by his violet hair, plus it is the color of his skin, the only possible way to see it is if he shows it to you voluntarily, or you happen to see it when his locks blow back in the wind, which is why he often turns his face to the left whenever this happens. Having a device to help him hear is terribly embarrassing for him because of his young age, which is why this information was only entrusted to the school nurse. Isamu is slightly afraid of water which is because he lost his cousin to an accident out on a lake trip. Baths do not frighten him, he prefers showers though because he knows he cannot drown and for other hygienic reasons. He might make up any excuse to stay away from the water, may it be an injury or an "emergency". He will never admit his fear; he does not have to since he's only ever told one person outside of his family. Isamu greatly dislikes scary movies, he will watch them with friends, usually his eyes will remain closed in secret, or he will turn off his hearing aid and try to cover his other ear with something such as a pillow in a casual manner. If he feels the movie is too frightening or will give him nightmares he will often go hide in the bathroom and fake an upset stomach, or some other issue such as his parents demanded him be home by a certain time, he might even go as far as to leave early to do his homework. No one likes being criticized; Isamu doesn't mind it, unless it's about his hair. It is one of the things he wishes he could change about himself but every time he tries to he ends up dropping his plan for it. He knows that he's grown to love his hair style and color, but cannot help but hate it since it was rather forced upon him at a young age. The pink on the underside was his idea though, and might be the only thing he likes about it. He will not express his feelings of hurt at the criticism of his violet locks; he will however be in a bad mood for the rest of the day. It might be girly, and well, unnatural, but Isamu often shaves his legs and under his arms. He's not fond of massive amounts of hair growing out of him; he likes a smooth feeling and has found that a lot of girls back home like this. He doesn't shave his chest yet, since he doesn't need to. His parents never found out about his "feminine shaving", thankfully. He continues shaving to this day, he only does it in the shower though, and puts the razor back on the sink counter, so his roommate assumes he's shaving the facial hair he doesn't have. He's not embarrassed about it, but he doesn't exactly want everyone to know. Although he's a virgin in nearly every sense of the word, his mind is filthy. No one said he was thinking of females though. This is why he sometimes zones out in class with his wide blue eyes, sometimes he will even drool a bit. If he is ever caught though, he is quick to declare that he was thinking of lunch time because he hadn't eaten in the morning.
