The library, for him at least, was one of the things that would have been nice if he hadn't been blind. That didn't bother him though, seeing that he could find other ways of doing things too. Braille was a nice thing to have, seeing that he was easily familiar with the English version of it, but braille in Chinese and Japanese seemed to be slightly different. Starting at an older age for it seemed a lot harder than what some actually should expect, but he was getting there.
With that, Will was able to find a spot next to a window, with the help of an assistant librarian, and was sitting there with a braille book he'd read mutliple times before. It was a pretty good day, but still pretty wet for Hokkaido at this time of year. Everything was alright for him, yet the schooling system was a little strange. Will couldn't figure out why his parents had sent him there, besides the fact that he needed to be in school for his education.
But that didn't really stop him, and he didn't mind. He got used to the idea of an all male schol pretty quickly, and Will didn't even think that anyone really noticed him blind till they saw the cane to help famliarize himself, at times, with where things were. It didn't matter to him what they thought, or even if they stared at him. It wasn't his fault. But the reading was also a good thing for him, seeing that he didn't mind what was actually happening around him.
Word; 265 Notes; Little rambling, but he's just kinda thinking to himself while reading braille book.

Boy was he out of place here. The silence and serenity of the library, and just the overall thought of such a kid like Ori being there would stun or shock most. Since he came off as the type to hate anything and everything about books, this however was quite untrue. "Just because I'm loud in class doesn't mean I'm loud everywhere else in the world" he thought to himself, as if anyone was listening to him. He breathed a long and heavy sigh as he quickly picked out a book, wanting nothing more than to sit down in a corner or something with one of those quiet kids and perhaps exchange small words while reading.
Yes, it was true, standing out was what he did, and most of the time he loved it, in this place it wasn't so great to stand out. He never could quite pinpoint why though.
He selected a book with a rather bare cover; barely even glancing at the title long enough to register into his brain what it was called. All he registered was that the title started with "The", which was rather pathetic, even he could admit that. "It feels like everyone's staring at me...And not in the good way." He thought, briskly walking over to another boy who was quietly, doing what Ori assumed was reading, by a window of the library. Thankfully it wasn't crowded with staring eyes over in this section. The blond began to pull out the heavy chair; he suddenly stopped though, remembering he should ask before just sitting down by someone.
This guy could've been saving a seat for his friend or something.
"Um...Would you mind too badly if I sat here?" he said, in a rather unconfident voice, he hated it when his voice came out like that. It sounded like he was scared out of his wits or about to sing in front of the whole world. Ori Shimamiya was by no means a "Shy boy”, he was rather outgoing, until it came to complete strangers and having to ask questions to said strangers. Being in a weird mood this fine day didn't help a bit either. Having woken up with half of his body on the floor wasn't what one would call a "pleasant surprise."
