Not to mention that he’s a terrible liar. • COMPASSIONATE – the proverbial bleeding heart with strong ties to his philanthropic urges. It goes against his code of honor to not lend his assistance where he can, even if it is only offering an ear to listen. • IRRITABLE – even he is prone to a few angry outbursts. Thankfully it is rare for them to turn violent. • THOUGHTFUL – it’s ingrained in his very marrow to be kind to others despite the stereotypes that follow his German heritage. • INDECISIVE – only in the sense of his own personal dilemmas does he find his foundations less than sound. Be it elements of his heart and personal desires or aspects of his health, he always finds himself unsure. • GRUDGING – like an elderly neighbor, cross him and he won’t soon forget the crime, or allow the perpetrator to either. • HEDONISTIC – not in terms of carnal indulgence but of strong drink and good company, two vices he will rarely deny and is quick to enjoy to excess in. • HUERISTIC – one of the greatest gifts one can be given is knowledge, made all the more fulfilling when he can lead those who seek answers to their solutions. • PRAGMATIC – sometimes the toughest decisions are those that force him to ignore his heart and think with for the betterment of others he must lay them aside. He’ll deal with the resulting guilt later. • DEDICATED – work or relationships it hardly matters, once he’s decided to invest himself in anything he is not easily parted from it. He is loyal almost to a fault with how concerned he can become and how careful he is to upset them. • POSSESSIVE – it is never initially clear how much he coverts something once it is in his grasp but let there be a threat to his ownership and there is no fury quite as strong as his. • AMBITIOUS – a journey is only over when you die and there is always more to aspire to be, and while he may not have any goals greater than the one he has already achieved, there is always room to move higher. • OBSTINATE – he’d do a mule proud with how stubborn he can be, especially if he believes he is right. [/style][STYLE=color: #191919; font-size: 10px; margin-top: 10px; margin-left: 10px;]ABOUT PAST EVENTS[/style][STYLE= margin: 0px 10px 0px 10px; border: 2px solid #191919; padding: 2px; font-family: verdana; height: 125px; overflow: auto; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; opacity: 0.8]• Originally a citizen of Berlin, Germany with a strong Christian upbringing. • A product of Germanic purity, he never felt it would be an option to leave his motherland, or rather had no desire to do so, thus never aspired to learn a language other than German and English. Not that his mother didn't coax him to learn a third in spite of this, advice he didn't take into consideration until early on in his adulthood. • His father, Heinrich Von Wilde, represented every possible stereotype accredited to their nation. His brashness and quick anger were legendary among their household, his song bearing the brunt of verbal abuse when the man had no other outlet. And while violence never became a factor, the fear of it was never far from their minds. Eventually, that anxious terror prompted his mother to leave, taking custody of Dietrich and moving to her hometown of Frankfurt. • His mother, Arlessa Kresge - having dropped her husbands surname, a thing she was unable to convince Dietrich to do - resumed her lifelong career of teaching. Dietrich would often go to the elementary school where she worked and do menial tasks. • Began to express an interest in mental and hereditary disorders due to the volume of Autistic students. However, learning the subject was not so easily done or affordable. Thankfully he was smart enough, and ambitious enough, to maintain a 4.0 GPA and later being award a scholarship from a University in Japan. • Albeit hesitant to leave Dietrich enrolled in the study abroad and was immediately met with the dilemma of being a foreigner. Besides the language barrier that became a constant thorn in his side, there was the merciless bullying - or attempts of such - for not being a native. One instance involving him and a group of students ended with him being saved by another non-native who rescued him. Although he never witnessed his savior in action as he had passed out just before his arrival. • When he reawakened in the apartment of his unlikely ally he learned of a wound contracted on his behalf and insisted that he would one day repay him for his sacrifice, effectively solidifying a an indissoluble bond that he has been unfailingly true to since the event. • In their senior year at the university, a project his best friend was conducting went awry and the unstable compounds being used exploded. Dietrich jumped in as a shield and was later rushed to the hospital for the burns he received. • Achieved his PHD in psychiatry and joined a hospital but also had himself employed as part-time Guidance Councilor at the Chishiki Academy. Enemies to man and he'll probably never be convinced to own one. The reason being is that Dietrich is actually afraid of them - a childhood trauma that he has learned to mask with annoyance and anger. • Is partially blind in his left eye as a result of an incident during college.
