Whether it’s school work, or basketball, or just dropping homework off at a friend’s house, he makes sure he does it, and he does it well. He’s a perfectionist of sorts; he would never leave a job unfinished, even if he had to stay up for days on end. A lot of people assume that because Felix is so quiet and focused all the time that he’s mean, but really Felix is just a soft spoken kid who really treasures the friends that he has. Felix isn’t much of a social butterfly. He’s not shy or cold, he just doesn’t think that going out and looking for friends is something that should be prioritized (basketball and school work comes first). If someone comes up and talks to him, he’ll talk to them, and if you can break past his awkward small talk, he’s actually a pretty nice boy. Felix isn’t very street smart either. He likes facts and sports, things with rules, but when it comes to dealing with people and pursuers, he’s clueless. If someone is mad at him, or they’re flirting with them… he really couldn’t tell the difference. Of course there are exceptions, like his childhood friends, and his siblings but that’s only because he’s known them for years and years on end. This also means, he doesn’t really understand how to properly show or determine his own feelings. Two parents and two siblings, one older brother, and one younger sister, and you get any more normal than that? He moved to Japan, from France when he was very young, but his parents refused to learn Japanese, but that’s not really anything out of the ordinary. His childhood was nothing out of the norm either, the usual scrapes on the knees and lollipops at the doctor’s, the only thing that really stood out was the huge shadow casted on him from birth. His older brother was perfect. He is perfect. Baseball mvp, top of his class, the class prince, he did it all. He was the golden child, and with the edition of his cute little sister… Felix was forgotten. At first Felix took the bad boy root. In middle school he god horrible grades, and acted up as much as he could, but his parents still never really cared much about him. The bad boy life was annoying though, he had to pretend not to know all of the material on the tests and mouth off when the teacher would call him out on it… downright troublesome. He just wanted his parents to look his way; he didn’t care what it took… so he told them he was gay. Felix didn’t really know that it was true at the time, but he figured that he had to be because he had never ever found a girl sexually attractive in his life, and hey… telling your parents you’re gay should rile them up a bit. He wasn’t so lucky. His parents weren’t very approving but, they didn’t get fired up about it. “We can’t change what you are.” He thought that was it, that he would never ever be able to get their attention. He was convinced that there was nothing that he could be good at, that would make him stand out. Thankfully he found a friend who introduced him to basketball and pretty much changed his life. He was good at basketball, great even, and he loved playing it. When he heard about Chishiki Academy and their basketball program, he was determined to make it in. So he studied his ass off and got a good scholarship to the school… he still hasn’t gotten his parents full attention, but it’s still his goal. He will be perfect and he will make them see him.
