Benedict and his family are actually minor royalty - close enough to the throne of England that they can claim it, and far enough away that it would take a tactical nuke to get anyone onto the throne. Benedict is the youngest of three brothers, and both of his older siblings went to Chishiki as well. Why Chisiki? The main bonus is that it's far away - and well adapted for the absurdly wealthy. Benedicts parents are hopeful that time away from the adoring public will help their children settle. For Benedicts siblings, Chishiki worked like a charm, but for him, not at all. He's on his fourth year and hasn't settled down one bit. He's best described as an asshole - he'll bother and harass people for the hell of it. Having had few friends who treated him like equals, he'd picked up on their habits - treating most people less like equals and more like toys or servants.
